Saje Pocket Pharmacy Aromatherapy Kit Review
OK, let’s talk essential oils. Sure, there are some peeps who might think that EO therapeutic properties are a bit woo-woo (that was me back-back in the day), but dang, I have personally found them to be life savers, especially these past couple years. They’re undeniably mood boosting, and bottom line, they just smell friggin’ gooood – even if you aren’t specifically looking to cure a headache or fight a cold.
I’ve been so entranced by essential oils lately that I carry all sorts of different blends with me in my purse depending on my day or week’s vibe. When I caught wind that Saje came out with a little pocket pharmacy set of essential oil blends that come in a convenient purse-friendly pouch, I had to snatch one up STAT!
- Peppermint Halo (peppermint, eucalyptus, cajeput, rosemary, lavender, vetiver, grapeseed oil) – known as the “four minute miracle” for headache and migraine sufferers
- Immune (tea tree, pine needle, rosemary, geranium, eucalyptus, peppermint, certified organic cinnamon, grapeseed oil) – a virus fighting blend that helps fortify the body, relieve cold and flu-like symptoms and uplift the spirits
- Eater’s Digest (fennel, peppermint, black pepper, roman chamomile, myrth, grapeseed oil) – perfect for those times when our eyes are bigger than our stomach (ha, that’s every meal for me!), helps soothe upset stomach and ease digestion
- Stress Release (lavender, orange,, roman chamomile, vetiver, geranium, clary sage, myrtle, grapeseed oil) – helps alleviate symptoms of mild anxiety and promotes relaxation
- Pain Release – helps reduce inflammation and relieve muscle pain and stiffness related to tension, stress, overuse, or injury
My faves of the bunch include Peppermint Halo because I love all things minty and this one really helps wake my a$$ up (makes me alert) and clears my sinuses to boot (haven’t tried it out on headaches yet); Stress Relief, well, because I’m always hella stressed and trying not to be (smells so beautiful, calming and relaxing); and Eater’s Digest because a) I like the name, b) it reminds me of the candy-coated fennel seeds from Indian restaurants (which I love!), and c) I’m an overeater by nature who loves to clean her plate, haha. 😉
I adore this lil’ kit so much, and I look forward to trying out Saje’s other essential oil blends.
